This was my first stay in a hostel; I think I may be spoiled. Cirencester itself is a nice place although we only really saw it at night. The hostel is neat, modern and clean.
Parking is free from 6pm to 8am.
Check in was quick and easy. Hostel was situated in the middle of town within easy walk of all amenities. There was no noise at night and comfortable stay. would recommend.
Comfortable and welcoming hostel in great location
Excellent location. Friendly and welcoming staff. Good shared kitchen area with a friendly atmosphere. Rooms and bathrooms are fairly tight but that is expected. All in good condition and clean. We enjoyed our stay here and our visit to the surrounding Cotswolds area.
Accommodation was simple, but clean and had everything you needed. Great central location and the staff were really friendly and accommodating when we needed a later check out for a wedding. Was nice to not have to worry about getting dressed up and then wondering around Cirencester for hours before the wedding started.

Room was cramped, stuffy with noisy from generator outside window. Like a prison cell. Kitchen facility great. Location really good.

My only comment would be around the shower. Whilst the shower was excellent the water comes out into the bathroom because the drain needs to raised to form a lip.

The Barrel Store Hostel
We stay with our friends from Australia and find the room to be slightly small. The toilet is clean but the bath is small.
Sharing the kitchen is fine but the utensils are slightly old and some are rusty. Having said that, the staff are friendly. There was no laundry although it stated that there are laundry facility on site when we booked.
Romash the staff was super friendly when we arrived at the reception. Places are clean and tidy. Will definitely stay there again when visiting Cotswolds next time.
Very Basic, a table would have been ideal. Clean. No lift. it was a very quick nightout but only needed a clean bed and shower and I was very happy with the conditions. Overall good night sleep.
The only minus is it take a while to find the location as Google maps does not display it correctly. I think they should put proper instructions in their confirmation email. Instead they only focused about Parking. Actually between 6pm -8am there is free parking at Old Station Car Park.
Great central location
The kitchen has all you needed
The room was cosy and small
The bathroom was big in comparison to the room, it being a wet room
Parking at the brewery arts centre is perfect after 6 pm and free on Sundays
Would definitely stay again
It's a posh YHA at post YHA prices...but still a really good choice for families in a touristy part of the world. Our bunks were ready made and comfortable. Clean, modern design with well equipped kitchen. Easy parking and supermarkets close by. Would stay again.

Basic but ok if you want a cheap get away
Very basic accommodation but not too bad. We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathroom, there was lots of hair from other guests left over on the floor and walls. Beds were comfortable and the linen was fresh.
The receptionist was nice, but the room was awful. Not clean at all, there was still sticking stains on the floor. Not any possibility to open the window. We stayed in place as costy as this one and it was better
Voilently expensive parking. I estimated the owner (Council? ) would make 3/4 million Pounds from this car park. A real killer.
Room extremely simple but adequate. No TV.
