Friendly owners, we had to put up a night on the way to Taos, this place is perfect, it’s clean and very friendly. Will visit again when we go to Taos.
This is an older quaint motel which caters to hikers. Few places to eat, but we enjoyed a delicious meal at the Saint James Hotel. For us this worked out well after a long day of driving. Everything worked and the bed was very comfortable.
Hikers Inn is conveniently located to eating/shopping. Everything is within walking distance. Stephen (our host) was friendly, easy to talk to and a wealth of information about the history of the area. The Inn was safe, had hot showers and beds were comfortable. I’m so glad we stayed here and I’d stay again!
My grandson and I really enjoyed our week at Hikers. Or room, the "eFISHency" was clean, quiet, and decorated with cool fishing items. The beds were really comfortable. I plan to return next month and have already booked that room. I can highly recommend the Hiker's Inn!
Set in a small town, this unusual motel is fun. The room we stayed in was the ski room. The decor was all done in ski related things. It had a small sitting area, a king size bed and an on suite bath. The manager was nice and helpful. We ate at an antique hotel dining room. It was great
This is a very humble old style western motel. Very clean and owners are kind and helpful. Bed is comfortable.Room is small. It's fine for an overnight stop to sleep the price is very reasonable.
Great experience. This is a restored classic old motel from the fifties where they’ve done a fantastic job restoring it to its original self. Owner is a very fine and accommodating gentleman. Relaxing environment. Highly recommended.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The staff was very friendly and informative. The room was ok heater was not working shower dripped all night cozy though.
Great little hotel. It is an older building, but kept very well and is very clean. The bathroom was recently redone in number 5. Owners are very friendly. No AC, but it was pleasant and the fresh air was nice.
Wonderful place to stay in Cimarron. Rustic old cabin field with an old route 66 vibe very well maintained. The best thing was the full size coffee pot in the room.
The bathroom was a wee bit small, almost like being on a ship. But was very usable
And the friendly neighbors who had big ears, the deer.
The staff is friendly and welcoming. The room was as advertised and was very clean. It was a 2-night stay and someone made the bed, emptied the trash, etc (something that basically doesn't happen anymore). I spent Tues and Wed nights there -- the town's restaurants are closed both of those evenings. This is not a ding on the hotel, but since I had to hit the grocery store for dinner food, it would have been great to have a small fridge in the room.
