The resort was beautiful and the staff were so attentive and nice, the food onsite was great but limited. I’d say the only thing that would’ve made it a little bit better is more activities on site. We would definitely come again.

We had our wedding here. Very happy with that process and the staff’s assistance. Every staff member we dealt with was great. Dinner at the resort seemed expensive. Food was ok. Again, staff were great. We stayed in two different rooms. They were large and comfortable. Cleanliness was ‘ok.’ Not great. AC in one room super cold, the other, not so much. The beaches were fantastic. Property overall was very comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

This resort is AWESOME! Staff is super friendly and absolutely stunning views - well maintained - the owner Mrs. Elizabeth’s weekly Nature History Tour was an added bonus. She is very passionate about and very involved here at the Buccaneer Resort . Will for sure be back !

People are lovely except one staff member at the main beach bar with the pool. Most were amazing but Friday staff left my food at the kitchen and made me ask for it twice while it sat there getting cold. Attitude! Rest of food and bev experiences were fantastic and I do mean fast service for room service. Need more pillows? You will have them in 90 seconds. The beach is fabulous and untouched by sargassum and has some decent snorkeling. It’s recommend this resort and I travel to the Caribbean twice per year for 30 years. Downtown Christianstead is a 0 minute drive w amazing food options. Highly recommend Harbor Prime!

Resort was all right . Nice view . Expensive for sure make sure to have cash ,they do except tip especially in breakfast even tho it’s “included” .house keeping wasn’t the best ,they still go in even if the “dnd” sign is out . When we asked for house keeping they just did the bed didn’t give us more toilet paper/towels or didn’t take trash . Last day we experienced a lot of ants on the walls in the bathroom. About 50+$ per meal . Food needed more flavor . Definitely recommend the boardwalk for more affordable food options and souvenirs!

Very friendly and helpful staff throughout the resort including the pro shop at the golf course. Room was exactly as pictured and expected ! Breakfast choices were plentiful. Beaches were spectacular , and for someone that has been coming down to STX for 30 years - among the best on the island. All of the restaurants were excellent and we ate at all of them. The Welcome Experience on Tuesday night and meeting the owner was refreshing and perfect. The Buccaneer is a must stay!

nice place overall we did have a little roach issue in bathroom for about two days but they jumped right on it. Service was overall very good mostly the bar servers and up front staff. Good American breakfast nothing interesting just good that comes with room but tips are expected and it's buffet...breakfast has a lovely view. We went in summer which we don't normally do so do expect lots families if traveling when school is out. Beaches are nice, pools are just ok. restaurants are pricey food is nothing great overall.

We enjoyed all the access the Buccaneer had to offer. The beaches are beautiful. The one thing I would do differently is rent a car. Also, I wish the property had access to rent a golf cart if you weren’t golfing. The expense of some of the food was something to plan for or to purchase a meal plan for the next trip. It was a great vacation, overall.

It was a beautiful and lovely resort. Extremely clean with breathtaking views. The breakfast buffet that was included was also very good. All staff extremely kind and helpful. We enjoyed the beach, pool, golf and the spa.
