This resort is AWESOME! Staff is super friendly and absolutely stunning views - well maintained - the owner Mrs. Elizabeth’s weekly Nature History Tour was an added bonus. She is very passionate about and very involved here at the Buccaneer Resort . Will for sure be back !

nice place overall we did have a little roach issue in bathroom for about two days but they jumped right on it. Service was overall very good mostly the bar servers and up front staff. Good American breakfast nothing interesting just good that comes with room but tips are expected and it's buffet...breakfast has a lovely view. We went in summer which we don't normally do so do expect lots families if traveling when school is out. Beaches are nice, pools are just ok. restaurants are pricey food is nothing great overall.

Very friendly and helpful staff throughout the resort including the pro shop at the golf course. Room was exactly as pictured and expected ! Breakfast choices were plentiful. Beaches were spectacular , and for someone that has been coming down to STX for 30 years - among the best on the island. All of the restaurants were excellent and we ate at all of them. The Welcome Experience on Tuesday night and meeting the owner was refreshing and perfect. The Buccaneer is a must stay!

We enjoyed all the access the Buccaneer had to offer. The beaches are beautiful. The one thing I would do differently is rent a car. Also, I wish the property had access to rent a golf cart if you weren’t golfing. The expense of some of the food was something to plan for or to purchase a meal plan for the next trip. It was a great vacation, overall.

It was a beautiful and lovely resort. Extremely clean with breathtaking views. The breakfast buffet that was included was also very good. All staff extremely kind and helpful. We enjoyed the beach, pool, golf and the spa.

The rooms in the great house were spacious and had great views. The breakfast was also really great, but we did not like the coffee which is a big deal for us but we found a good cafe in town. The terrace restaurant had great food, great views, great service. The mermaid for lunch was ok and the service wasn’t great. We had a great time on St Croix and we would stay at the Buccaneer again.

The breakfast service was extremely slow . They were only staff with three servers so it took about 30 minutes before some one recognized us . They did apologize. The hot food was quite cold . The gym needs some tlc , but on the whole the staff was great . I booked a deluxe room and should have received a bottle of wine upon arrival. We were in the tennis villas, with no complimentary wine . On a whole the property was beautiful, the sunsets were beautiful. The bartender and dinner servers were fantastic.

The Buccaneer is the absolute best place to stay in the Virgin Islands. Fantastic rooms, spectacular ocean views, pristine beaches, it has it all. And to top it off, a staff that makes you feel like you’re part of the family. Can’t wait to plan our next trip to St Croix.
