Very clean, great location for sightseeing. Tram route, Quake City, Memorial Wall and Botanical gardens all within easy walking distance, to name but a few. Friendly and helpful staff, although some minor communication issues. Good breakfast with fruit, yoghurt, cereals, toast and a choice of Bacon and eggs or eggs Benedict, plus juice, teas and coffees. Easy parking too.

This is a gorgeous historical BB, if you like the anonymity of a large luxe hotel this might not be for you, but the rooms are clean, cosy and furnished as is fitting for a historical home. The operators are very helpful and kind about helping you during your stay. It is walkable with a tram stop just at the front door. Has off street parking directly out the front of the home in an enclosed area. As a solo traveller I felt safe and at home here and would recommend to anyone.
