Sophie welcomed us nicely, she was very friendly on our arrival and took her time to show us around and have a lil chat. The kitchen is very well set up too with a proper cooking stove and oven.

Great spot near the beach

Nice and close to the beach. Communication was great and the room had everything needed to cook a small meal. Outside of the busyness of Christchurch, this is a great town to visit and place to stay.

Great location. Loved the private outside seating area. Free use of laundry. Sadly the TV Signal was lost throughout the motel. It would have been helpful if we were told this at checking. Things go wrong we understand. Fixed on day 2. Free Netflix. Helpful staff. Clean and comfortable stay we would recommended it .

The couple running this motel are awesome. Sumner Beach is such a great village to unwind. So close to the city yet a lot more laid back. The beach and variety of eateries are all walkable from this motel. Recommended.

Great location, relaxing stay

This place has a great location just a block from the Sumner esplanade and walking distance to a dozen or so places to eat. The unit was spacious, functional, and safe. We had plenty of space for all of our stuff and it was a great place to relax and enjoy our time here. It's a bit dated (especially the carpet) but overall was a good place to stay.
