All round great hotel. Very friendly staff and the room was comfortable and clean. Parking is an issue and the hotelwill charge $20 ish, but for the sake of walking for 5 to 10 mins you can park for free around Latimer Square and Gloucester road /barbadoee street.

The Novatel was very conviently located near the buses also very close to the tram. The hotel restaurant was lovley. We had dinner and breakfast and where very happy with the service and food. The hotel itself was a bit older than I thought but we where very happy with our stay.

The service staff were so friendly and kind. The gym and family room was amazing with excellent equipment. Executive room was fabulous and mini bar treats that were complimentary was a fantastic bonus. Thanks again we loved our stay.

I thought the layout of the room was weird. The vanity wasn’t in the bathroom and the fridge was in the opposite end of the room to the tea/coffee. There was no room flow at all. Just felt odd.

Clean, convenient location, friendly staff. We enjoyed three nights in this hotel. Close to restaurants and easy walks around it. Very basic amenities. Breakfast food wasn’t the best, and they should offer better coffee quality in a city that prides itself on coffee offerings. Other than that, happy overall.

Close to conference venue

Staying to be close by the Te Pae conference centre, room clean and spacious, previously given complimentary water - none at this hotel, bar was nice to relax in for a drink, did not eat here though. Staff were friendly and virtuous, good location to city centre
