Room was Too hot! Bed was hot too! Hubby didn’t mind. Shower, over bath, difficult for octogenarians. Pressure too strong. Almost had a flood. Not enough heat in the water.

This is a great place to stay in Christchurch near the botanical gardens and a lovely walk to the city center. I wish we could have taken advantage of the included breakfast on our last day but our flights were changed and we had to depart before it opened. Friendly staff and wonderful warm cookies. The rooms are a little dated and there was some rubbish that was not picked up for a period of time. I would definitely stay here again

Friendly staff, beautiful gardens and nice and peaceful. The hotel is quite dated and beds too soft. There was an off-putting chlorine or bleach smell when you entered the hotel. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
