A great value for money property that was perfect for a night when attending an event. Friendly staff, clean room and the room was spacious enough for our family. Very close to Wolfbrook, Addington races and Apollo. A quick easy walk to great restaurants and cafes.

Excellent motel

We were made to feel welcome from the minute we arrived. Staff could not be more helpful and a great bonus was the courtesy lift to the station for our train journey. Would definitely recommend. It’s also in a very convenient position close to shops and the Ale House for dinner.

Lovely place to start our holiday

Lovely stay here. The room had everything we needed including a small kitchen area. It was a great start to our travelling holiday round New Zealand. Comfortable, clean and friendly owners.

The Addington Motel is in a great location to access public transportation to the city centre or to quickly access the hwy to drive out of Christchurch into the rural areas. The host and hostess are very nice people, they collected us from the railway station when we arrived and tended to all our needs. We had a pleasant stay for 3 nights.

The Owner is gracious and most helpful with all my needs…. She truly goes the extra mile in hospitality. Extremely convenient to the Train Station. Super Clean and nice well appointed rooms. Beds are super comfortable. I will return any time I am in this area. WiFi excellent and many TV channels.
