“BEWARE, this property greatly lacks security! The listing does (minimally) state that there is no staff on site. Yet, My wife & I were given entry into the building without having completed the supposed mandatory online check-in, having only spoken to someone through the Ring doorbell camera. We found that the key lock box for our room has been improperly closed by the previous guest, with our room key literally falling out of the lock box when we entered the house. The room key was for...

“Had a lovely stay Very helpful staff and room beautifully clean. Very near to shop and not too far from town will stay again happily.”

“Very friendly staff”

“Last minute booking made at 8pm by 11.30pm was at the property and no lockbox enaul had been forwarded so could not get into the property. Had to find alternative accomodation as could not waitcany longer for the info as no indication my issue was being addressed. Finally received the lockbox email at 12 30am 4.5hrs after the booking. Would not advise last minute/evening bookings for this venue.”

“Took 45mins to check in in the stifling heat only to find our room didn't have any provisions whatsoever for the heat. No fan, no air con and to top it off, the fridge didn't work so we couldn't even cool our drinking water. Staff (Sri Lankan fella behind the desk) was about as much use as a pair of sunglasses on on bloke with 1 ear. Don't stay here. Be warned.”

“good”

“No hot water, so couldn't have a shower. Or a warm water wash. They made me pay £10 extra when i got there "Because my original booked room had been given to someone else, so we had to give you a bigger one". Advertised as Bed and Breakfast, but no breakfast available. There was nothing on the property to indicate that it was a hotel, the front door code didn't work and the address they gave me was wrong, so i called at the wrong building when i arrived”

“SCAMMED we felt totally scammed. If your thinking of Booking this place Please read all the poor reviews in relation to this property, they are all accurate. Its NOT A HOTEL, Its a house in what looks like council estate. Its a 4 bedroom house that this man let's out with a several Booking platforms with a listing that is totally inaccurate. Like many have said, pool and gym pictures do not exist at the property, they are in a leisure centre down the road. We booked a family room that was...

“The guest house’s hall is not very clean, not vacuumed for days I guess. The room’s carpet was stained a lot, black stains at the door too. The linens had stains , and looked very very old . I informed through Expedia about the linen being stained the moment I noticed but was ignored . There is no staff on site at all. The linens were not changed. I would not recommend the place.”

“Booked accommodation on morning and received confirmation email. Arrived at property and not received any email with access codes for property. Rang mobile providers number given on booking confirmation and was transferred then not ale to connect. Tried numerous times and also contacted Expedia for help to contact provider. After an hour Expedia told me accommodation was unlikely to be available so I then had to find alternative accommodation. Wasted nearly two hours and resulted in me missing...
