Room was in good condition and comfortable bed. Staff was pleasant although with limited English ability. There was no English name of the hotel on the exterior of the building or in the lobby. The hotel is on the 5th floor of an office building and the reception in the main lobby didn't know about the hotel when I showed them a Chinese translation of the English name and they directed me to another building across the street. The nice people in the lobby of that building called the receptionist of the hotel who came down to the street to meet me.

The hotel is located in the CBD centre. It is very close to the Local food street market and the city centre. The rooms were very modern and all the amenities were provided. The area around Hotel is a bit dirty and lot of people smoking and drinking outside the building. Even though everything was good about the hotel, it is not convenient for a foreigner who doesn't know Chinese to locate the Hotel. There is no English Sign anywhere to indicate it's location. The Hotel exists on the 5th floor of the building.

Einmal und nie wieder!

Auf den Check-In folgte der erste Schock: Den Boden des Badezimmers musste ich erst einmal mit einem Handtuch trocknen, weil er komplett nass war. Toilettenpapier (nicht einmal eine halbe Rolle) wird streng rationiert. Im Zimmer selbst lagen viele Haare auf dem Boden. Das WiFi-Passwort musste ich beim Empfang erfragen, es wurde mir nicht mitgeteilt. Der sogenannte „Fitnessbereich“ besteht aus einem einfachen Laufband, das neben einer Waschmaschine steht - direkt gegenüber wird geraucht. Leider sind die Zimmer extrem hellhörig. Ich hatte das Pech, in der Nähe von Gästen zu wohnen, die es normal fanden, nachts um 23:45 Uhr laut über den Flur zu schreien. Am nächsten Morgen roch es in meinem Zimmer nach Zigarettenrauch, obwohl ich Nichtraucher bin. Offenbar gelangt der Rauch über die Lüftung in das Zimmer. Man hat mir wegen des Lärms der anderen Gäste ein neues Zimmer angeboten, das leider genauso hellhörig war. Man hört jedes Wort, teilweise auch aus anderen Gästeräumen. Offenbar gibt es hier keine offizielle Nachtruhe. Der Boden des neuen Zimmers wies ebenfalls Haare auf. Beim Check-Out funktionierte nur noch ein Aufzug. Nach zig Minuten Wartezeit bin ich mit dem Koffer dann 5 Etagen über das Treppenhaus nach unten gegangen. Die Dame am Empfang ist nicht auf die Idee gekommen, mir zu sagen, dass es ein Treppenhaus mit einem weiteren Aufzug gibt. Es war ingesamt einer der schlechtesten Hotel-Aufenthalte, den ich je hatte.
