Chiquilá Vacations

I will never stay here again. There was multiple roaches in the kitchen walking on the dining plates and silverware. They did change us to a different room, but it was the same issue. Their excuse was that the building had been fumigated a day before and it was normal. This was an unacceptable. We end up checking out right away next morning. I had no choice that stay there for the night. It was almost close to midnight when we got to this issue.

Overall good; room was small, tiny bathroom; ocean view was good; great location; helpful and courteous staff.

We spent a week at Valentin and really enjoyed our time. Emerald suite is a little smaller than we are used to but worked well. It was nice to be able to relax! The food was good and well seasoned. Disclaimer: Men make sure to bring pants and a collared shirt or you won’t be getting into the restaurants! Luckily my husband brought a set so we were good. I will say this rule seems a little crazy for vacationers who paid to relax and unwind.
