Lovely location and a very welcoming hotel. Friendly and helpful staff and the room was spacious with good amenities and very accessible. The hotel is dog-friendly and our room was perfect with an external “patio” door giving access to the large and very nice garden.

The room was spotlessly clean with crisp white bedding and towels. I was grateful to have a fan available in the wardrobe. I soon put this on the bedside table and plugged it in! The breakfast was a good choice of cereal/fruit salad/Greek yogurt and a nicely cooked hot breakfast buffet. The staff were friendly and very helpful - particularly the ladies at breakfast on Saturday and Sean on the Reception desk.

The hotel and staff were brilliant, very helpful. However the bedroom was very dated and worn, I know we booked last minute but the room allocated felt like it was the emergency last let room with dirty bathroom shower curtain, cobwebs all over, curtain hanging off the hook and the carpet was disgustingly. Plus point bed was comfy and the water was hot. Felt a few days off use and some tlc would certainly improve it. Would stay again just not that room. Staff were lovely and friendly and breakfast was delicious.

BUYEER BEWARE1! we booked this hotel specifically advertised it said it was located in chipping camden a village in the heart of the cotswolds The address online was Mikleton, Chipping Camden. I actually called before we booked to confirm it was chipping camden..Upon arrival we learned IT WAS NOT in chipping Camden...Chipping camden was 20 miles away. Our trip was based on sttaing in chipping camden and hiking from there . When upon arrival, we realized we were lied to about it's location, we told the facility we were lied to and would only stay the 1 night not 4 and asked to cancel th other 3 dyas, we were told they would not let us cancel the next 3 days OR REFUND THE 3 day balance, Rather than stay nowhere in the real cotswolds (no hikes nearby) we booked and stayed in Stow in the wold a perfect village with a clean no smell room In addition to the false statement about where they were located, our room smelled, there were multiple stains in the carpets and the the shower was in a tub that you had to cl;img over 2 feet to even get into..... LIKE I SAID BUYER BEWARE. Book here at yout own risk
