Overnight to somewhere

We had an over night stay on our way to Carnarvon Gorge. The Laurels was such a pleasant surprise very homely and welcoming. Received an upgrade to room on the creek which had an outdoor bath. If had more time would have used it to take in the serenity. We loved it.

The Laurels is quirky and unique. Our cabin was very clean and cosy. It was handy having a cafe so close, and their food being very good. It was within walking distances to 'The Club' hotel which offered everything you needed, and excellant service. Lea from 'The Laurels' was a perfect host. She responded quickly to all messages, and was warm, friendly and inviting. My partner and I enjoyed our 2 night stay in Chinchilla very much

The owners are nice and accommodated us with our pooch, the property is unique and well worth checking out, rooms are very good. Make sure you call and speak to the owners to confirm your requirements, don't rely on wotif to get it right because they wont. I will recommend the place to friend's and family.

Needed a short getaway and The Laurels come highly recommend by a friend. Our room was comfortable and clean. The surroundings very unique. Loved walking around the grounds. The staff very obliging, even an open umbrella waiting at our door to walk to breakfast in the rain. Felt very welcome and enjoyed our stay.

The property make you feel that your back in time, with use off artifacts from previous year's and reuse off them. Substantially is the word I would use. LOVED IT.

Hidden Gem in Chinchilla

Nice comfortable rooms, very rustic made with heaps of reclaimed materials. Was very cool. Was an amazing little table down by the river to sit at and have a drink. Mosquitos were thick but were surprised to see the rooms had mosquito coils supplied free to use outside. Little bit of highway noise faint in the background when outside but not an issue from inside from the room we were in. Rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable. It was very hot and our aircon worked really hard to keep the room cool. Would definitely stay again.

River Cottage Is Always a Slice of Heaven

We always love our long weekend getaways from the City to the gorgeous River Cottage at Laurels of Chinchilla. Can’t wait to be back again soon. Hospitality always exceptional and one of my favourite things is the beautiful bed!! I catch up on a lot of sleep and feels like home away from home.

Laurels of Chinchilla was really great. The welcome we received was so friendly, our little cottage was gorgeous and managed to be rustic but have really modern facilities at the same time. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Stunning B&B with beautiful warm hosts. We stayed in cabin over looking the water. Birds everywhere. The sunrise was spectacular Shara cooked us dinner so we did not need to leave the cosy fire Greg had lit. Definitely a return longer stay on our agenda

Wonderfull, unique and very warm and friendly

Love this place. Stayed in Log River cabin and enjoyed the whole experience. Manager very helpful and accommodating on arrival - couldn’t have been more helpful. The cabin has been set up very well with a rustic yet very comfortable decor. Recommended.
