Nice & Clean, restful stay on short notice

We made a decision to take a break about half-way through on a planned 12-hour road trip as we were approaching the tail effect of winter storm "Izzy." We had stayed at Fairfield Inn & Suites Chillicothe in Chillicothe, Missouri in July 2021, and had a good experience. This trip in mid-January 2022 was also very pleasant and restful, with a very clean facility, comfortable bed and great breakfast buffet. The storm had moved on by the next morning and we were glad we stopped here for several reasons.

Very clean and pleasant. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and complete. But, no maid service for a three-night stay and toilet paper was an issue. The surface of the shower/tub was extremely slippery and dangerous, IMHO. Some strange noises one night that could not be located or identified. On balance, a nice place and a good experience.

Excellent- would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful hotel, extremely clean with excellent service. Breakfast had a wide variety of food choices with lots of additional toppings and choices at 3 stations so that their was plenty of distance between. Staff was accommodating and swooped in to clean areas and offer service. Weather changed rapidly and the room cooled and heated quickly for maximum comfort.
