Many aspects of the room upon arrival, batnroom plus hole and soap dish limescale and dirty, no aircon, kettle had limescale, tpilet roll holder loose. One lift out of action as was the jacuzzi. Manager was rude, told me to stop talking when trying to address concerns and made excuses when issues raised in writing.. Spa staff nice that we came across. Breakfast okay. “We went to Europe for 4 weeks and stayed at at least 8 places, this was the best room we had the entire time. So much space, you felt like you were in someone’s guest room it was so cozy and had a beautiful bathtub and shower. The grounds were lovely and so was the food. I’d go back just to stay here for a beautiful weekend. Highly recommend.”

“Lovely lovely old hotel/pub in a charming village. Dear Lord it was so hot when we were there but we hada turbo fan provided. Parking is slightly limited but we always nabbed a space. Everything was clean and the restaurant was great. The best place for miles.”
