Great position and good value

A good value hotel for visiting Valladolid. The town centre is easily walkable, as are a myriad of restaurants. The rooms are comfy and clean, but nothing fancy.

We had a great stay. Staff were very helpful and the location is perfect for walking to the city center. We also loved the rooftop small pools & restaurant. We never had a problem with noise, and we were able to park our car in the enclosed lot, but keep in mind it’s VERY small and probably only good for a compact car.

Basic hotel, measure your expectations

Best thing about the hotel is the central location. Self-parking is easy and staff are friendly. Otherwise this is a basic hotel. Rooms are small and not especially comfortable, OK for a night or two, and certainly not for more than two people. The pool gets little direct sunlight and is uncomfortably cold at all times. Wifi service is terrible - doesn’t work in the room and not much better in the lobby. Price reflects these notes so measure expectations accordingly.

We stayed two days at the Hotel Aurora during our family trip to the Yucatán. The hotel is located near tourist attractions such as Francisco Cantón Rosado Park and the Church of San Servacio. The room, pool, and spa were spotless. The staff provided exceptional service and gave us valuable advice for exploring the region (archaeological sites, cenotes). The restaurant was good, but a bit crowded and could use better service. I highly recommend the Hotel Aurora.

Hotel itself is fine, but if you have a rental car, do NOT park in its lot. Impossible to get out. Not sure how safe it si to park on the street as staff told us not to, but its parking lot is brutal. Try not to get a room near its parking lot as you will hear people shouting instructions to each other trying to squeeze his car out (like we did)

The hotel is located in a great location near the town center. The roof top pool looked like it was in the middle of being fixed both roof top pools were dirty. The ground level pool was beautiful and clean.
