Location of the property was great. Walking distance or short train/uber wherever we needed to go. Front desk was very friendly. Room was ready when we arrived (90 minutes prior to official check in time) Room was very clean and well appointed. Property was quiet even in the heart of the city. Elevators plentiful and super fast for an older building. Overall great experience.

The staff were amazing. The hotel was clean. The amenities time restricted and we didn’t get to participate in any of them as it was more of a 3pm-7pm. During those times most people are out on Michigan Ave. I know the property is in renovation but as a “resort” I would have expected a bit more. They should have said they were renovating and limited amenities going on. Would I stay here again, probably. I know the staff doesn’t have control over what corporate does and they are the main reason I would go back. They were extremely nice and welcoming. Always smiling and just very friendly people.

It was okay for our four night stay, gave me and my sister a place to sleep at least. There's no daily houskeeping and some of the furniture was dirty. Staff was friendly and helpful. An alright place to book if you don't spend much time in the hotel room, which is easy because of its location; its close to the train station and tourist areas.

Although the rooms and hallways were clean and tidy. The rooms were pretty basic in general and the hotel had no amenities outside of the gym. It appeared that if there was a bar or restaurant (which I was told upon arrival there wasn’t) it actually seemed to be going thru’ a renovation. Which would have been helpful to know ahead of time. Location was pretty good though for the downtown loop area. There is some construction happening across the street below the EL track and in the street. Which limited traffic access and additional noise. In general though this isn’t a place I’d want to stay at again. Just because of the lack of amenities.

Well appointed room with plenty of space. Staff was extra nice; not something usually found these days. Helpful in offering suggestions for what was in the area. The rooftop party space was fantastic. Was there over a weekend; it was a party. Definitely would stay again. Excellent location.
