Great, lovely place, very comfortable. The breakfast is fantastic, don't miss it! Good location too. Parking can get hard to find if you have a larger car, so recommend arriving earlier in the day.

A warm and welcoming beautiful place. The staff was outstanding; from carrying my heavy luggage up three flights to offering great places to eat to accommodating my arrival and departure. Highly recommend. With a spectacular view of the city the rooftop is not to be missed!

This is not a hotel more of a Bed and Breakfast which is fine except the room was tiny with no desk or place to sit and work. The room was very clean and check in easy however it was on the bottom floor with the communal dining room table located almost directly on top of the room so 630AM every day felt like people walking directly on top of your head. For $400 a night that was very disappointing. I would highly recommend avoiding staying in the two rooms on the bottom floor.

Great location, homey and upscale accomodations in the style of a true urban B&B. Main-floor space is top notch with complimentary snacks and drinks. But the star of the show was Adie (staff) who reached out with helpful info ahead of time, was warm and friendly, and even mailed an earring we had left behind. I'll be coming back for future stays when I'm in town.

We love The Sono! We’re repea guests and have loved it everytime. This is our Chicago go to for sure. Area is secure and safe. The facility itself is modern, clean, and so so cute! The shower is amazing and the beds are plush and so comfy. Will be back for sure!

Awesome!

It was very clean and tidy. When we needed new towels they were there. Halfway through our stay everything was deep cleaned. The owners were extremely nice and offered a wide variety for breakfast. Any questions we had were answered quickly and effortlessly. Our room was cozy and the upstairs roof patio had a view that was beyond breathtaking. The place is close to downtown and in a good area to go anywhere in Chicago.

Beautiful home! Clean & comfortable. Adie & staff very hospitable and helpful. Accommodating, yet not intrusive, very respectful of privacy yet warm & welcoming. Breakfast is light, yet sufficient. They're simple, clean, and comfortable—nothing over-the-top, but definitely a step up from your average hotel. The beds are cozy, the space is quiet, and everything feels fresh and well-kept. Just a heads-up: there's no elevator, so if you're hauling a big suitcase, you'll get a little workout. Now, breakfast, available from 8 am to 10 am, is continental, but thoughtfully prepared—think hard-boiled eggs, pastries, fruit, and good coffee. The shared kitchen and lounge area are a highlight, offering a bright, modern space perfect for relaxing or chatting with fellow guests. One of my favorite spots? The outdoor seating. It's the kind of place where you can sip tea, reflect, and feel like you're miles away from the hustle. The staff? Lovely. They're attentive without hovering, and genuinely helpful.
