It was the coolest place I’ve ever stayed at in the USA. I loved the interior design, the attention to detail and the atmosphere there. Loved the size of the room. Also, really enjoyed the breakfast! It was delicious and I especially liked that it was cooked for each person, so less wasteful than a conventional buffet. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The Publishing House was easily one of our favorite stays in Chicago. The rooms and common areas are super comfortable, tastefully decorated and have a unique charm. This was my fourth time staying at Publishing House, and I hope to return again soon (that is, when it isn't booked solid)! I love it at Publishing House: an ideal location, quiet, comfortable, and with the best possible breakfasts in a beautiful common area. My favorite place to stay in Chicago, really. This BnB was a rare find for us on our recent trip to Chicago. The location is perfect, on a quiet street, and within walking distance of great restaurants. We liked the music while we ate our tasty breakfast in the common area. Our room was very spacious and modern. A bonus was the Press Room wine bar downstairs! Would highly recommend.

Hidden gem!

This hotel is such a great value! The rooms are beautiful with fabulous furniture and a super comfy bed. The breakfast options are a treat! As with any downtown Chicago hotel, there is some city noise, so the hosts provide earplugs.

The room was beautiful and clean. The common areas in the corridor and the entire top floor were beautiful and made it so easy to meet other guests, chat and have breakfast together. The extra touches like coffee supplies and fresh cookies were so thoughtful. I look forward to returning.
