Overall was a good stay for the price point and location. Room was superficially cleaned and small but comfortable. It felt like the bedroom and bathroom could have used a deeper clean. The staff was very helpful upon arrival and were there to assist as needed. The dormitory was clean and well maintained, with staff coming in daily to refresh linens and do laundry. I had a chance to chat with the manager of the hostile and he was very friendly and approachable. I was impressed with how respectful the other guests in the dorm were and would go back to STAY if I'm ever back in the area.

Great location and affordable. However the place was dirty, some bed sheets were dirty. The shower wasn't draining but 'luckily' there isn't much water pressure so we didn't flood the place. When I told them they said they checked it and it was fine but that wasn't true, issue was the same the next day. The microwave was broken too. Note the staircase is very steep and narrow, so you need to be able to carry your luggage.

Room was comfortable and large enough. Everything about the space was fine, aside from another guest who didn't clean up after themselves in the bathroom. For a cheap, safe place to stay - it's fine for the price. I will use it again in the future but only when traveling solo. I don't think my partner would have as much patience for a messy shared bathroom.

The accommodations and service was wonderful. The staff was amazingly friendly the facilities were very clean and the working space was great! While in Chicago I will surely stay here again.

My group and I arrived a few hours past check in time and the code they sent us did not work. I had messaged and with no response I had to call. They looked into it and gave us a call five minutes later with a different code that did work. The garage seemed very safe so that was a plus. There was construction going on and we had to duck under a 2x4 blocking the door. I understand this is a shared space but there was an unpleasant smell and most areas were visibly dirty. Our room had a window but it went into opened to someone else’s bed the next room over. We were sitting on the bed and a ROACH made an appearance. If you know what you’re getting into then sure, stay there, but because the price, cleanliness, and difficulty with the code I would not stay again.
