Very clean hotel with kind and helpful staff and a short walk to the blue line station for downtown access. Only docked a star because there isn’t much in the area for food and the restaurant didn’t seem like a great fit in traveling with kids. Was a great stay at the price point, though!

although i enjoyed being in the room itself & the food at the restaurant.. but what i didn’t enjoy was the customer service at the front desk. When i was in line trying to get my ticket validated he called other people from a different line / different color than me just so he didn’t have to help me, i literally had to just walk up before he called anybody else to get in front of me! i would not stay here again!!

It was overall a great stay. After having my flight continuously delayed due to inclement weather conditions, I chose to spend the night in Chicago. With several other airport passengers doing the same, it was a bit of a struggle to find a place. I’m so glad the Renaissance was available. I stayed in an executive suite and was impressed. The only thing wrong was a leak by the window… most likely due to the storm. Everything else was perfect. Food, service, staff, and the room were great. It’s located very close to O’Hare and I didn’t hear any plane noise. 10/10 recommend!
