The staff member who checked me in during the evening (approximately between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM) was absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately, I did not catch her name, but she made an excellent first impression. She was welcoming, professional, hospitable, and genuinely seemed eager to assist with anything needed. Her positive attitude set the tone for what I hoped would be a great stay.
Unfortunately, my experience with the staff during the later shifts was quite different. The front desk employee working overnight came across as abrupt and unapproachable, and interactions felt unnecessarily tense. Similarly, my experience with the morning staff was disappointing. While I fully acknowledge my responsibility for oversleeping and checking out approximately an hour late, the manner in which the situation was addressed felt unprofessional. The use of inappropriate language and the overall tone of the interaction were unnecessary and detracted from the guest experience.
As for the property itself, the room was clean and parking was convenient and hassle-free. However, there was a noticeable lingering odor in the room that impacted overall comfort.
I would like to extend special recognition to the employee who checked me in. Her professionalism and hospitality stood out and reflected the level of customer service I would have hoped to experience throughout my stay. I only wish the same standard had been maintained by the other staff members I encountered.
