I really liked my stay at the Knickerbocker hotel because the staff was so friendly, polite, and helpful!!! Also, the hotel was very fancy!!! I felt like a princess staying here! Breakfast was very delicious, the rooms were very clean, and my favorite part was the spinning doors!!! 😊😀☺️ Thank you so much for this amazing stay!!! I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re staying in Chicago or if Chicago is a stopping point, you will feel like like royalty!

Relatively affordable option for the location which is a short walk from a red line station giving easy access to the rest of Chicago. The lobby and rooms definitely look like they've seen better days, but they seemed clean to me. I didn't notice any obvious neglect and all my staff interactions were friendly and helpful. Overall solid choice if you're not banking on the decor and amenities being world class or something.

Room worked well for us. For an old hotel, things were surprisingly quiet. They do charge you an extra fee of $23 per day for facilities and WiFi. Housekeeping comes by daily and yet they didn’t refill the lotion bottle once. They do make the bed and restock towels.
