This hotel definitely needs TLC!!! The lobby and nearby restaurants are it's best asset. Otherwise the rooms are old, smell mildew, small as ever, gross carpet, bubbling walls in bathroom because of moisture...I will never stay again for sure !!!

Very comfy beds and quiet; was definitely able to rest. Room cleaned daily was a plus, but the towels were not restocked and some were not of hotel quality. The parking was a plus. I would stay again; staff very friendly and helpful.

The room was nice, towels were awesome, showerhead was great, front desk staff was welcoming, polite and professional. A few minor things...the conditioner seemed diluted and shower gel didn't make enough suds (shampoo was good). A little surprised the mattress doesn't absorb the trying to sleep tossing and turning movements ....although it was comfy. Would I stay again....of course. Many places to eat in the surrounding area and then there's the mall!

The room was nice, large and clean. It did seem to be only partially renovated. The bathroom had been updated but the rest of the room appeared very old. The cabinetry was peeling and cracked and the carpeting was definitely old. The rooms could use a much needed refresh but other than that my stay here was comfortable.

Lots to like: large, dramatic lobby, generous sized rooms, clean, quiet and comfortable, terrific shower with great shower head and ample supply of hot water, free ample parking,. Small thing but it's nice to have a soap dish. Great location just off major highway and very close to serious shopping and lots of restaurants. Staff was very pleasant. Nice to be asked if I'd like a room with a view. Not unexpectedly for such a hotel, food and beverages from the Starbucks in the lobby are pricey.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, and an overall very good experience.Just keep in mind that the hotel is in Schaumburg about 20-30 min drive from downtown Chicago, so a car is recommended. My only complain is the bathroom ventilation.For a Hyatt hotel, i don't think it's acceptable to have no proper ventilation, After a shower, the entire bathroom becomes extremely humid the mirror completely fogs up and everything gets wet. Other than that , it's a nice hotel and I had a very good experience.

The rooms were clean. The staff were nice and welcoming. One thing that really bothered me is that I called the front desk and asked for extra towels as there was only two during my four days stay and I had to wait five hours and no one showed up so I had to ask the housekeeping lady in the hallway to give me some towels. The hotel is nice, but it is a bit old. Carpets are very old and dirty. The sink in the bathroom kept leaking. Overall, not a bad hotel

It was an okay stay. Room was well worn and dated but clean-ish at least. Some sort of convention going on and other hotel stayers were up super late and loud in the hallways. Cooking something very odorous as well so that was kind of annoying. The guy at the front desk was super great so well done there.
