Expedia did not send my booking through to the hotel, but they were still very accommodating. They set me up at a sister hotel down the road and covered the cost of my stay for the night. I have nothing but praise for the Hyatt Regency staff.

this is a great location to stay at room was clean and bed was very comfortable very inviting lobby with bar and food to dine in no need to leave the hotel but if you have to its a Walmart close by to pick up your everyday needs the only thing I did not like there was no microwave in the room but they do have a refrigerator..and the view I liked that but over great place to stay

Property has potential to be a great stay. The property is clean and main area is nice/updated. The room is spacious but dated. Also during our stay (over Labor Day weekend) 2 out of 3 customer elevators were down; had to use service elevator or wait extended time. Bathroom toilet leaked. Paid breakfast buffet was very basic for price.

The restaurant staff was very efficient but they were understaffed. One person working the bar, taking food orders and serving food orders. They were pleasant and taking it in stride but could have used more staff. 2 of the 3 elevators were not working so people were also using the freight elevator. The rooms on the highway side get lots of traffic noise. Rooms are large but furniture could use some updating.

The rooms were well appointed and clean. Plenty of outlets, large closet, full length mirro, excellent blow dryer, comfortable bed and extra seating and a desk. The breakfast was very good and very reasonably priced. Both check in and check out was smooth and very professional staff. And the vanity area was seperate from the shower and toilet. Lighting was great, too.

The hotel is well-located, about a 40-minute drive from Chicago. It’s in a safe area and offers free parking. The staff is friendly, but the bedroom cleanliness could be improved. The carpet in the corners was a bit dirty, the bathroom shower was dirty, and there was even a used towel on top of the shower. On the positive side, there’s free coffee in the lobby.
