No big frills, but a solid place to stay when coming to explore the city. Good location for access to the museums with good proximity to Soldier Field. Also nice to be able to walk down the street to hit up a grocery store or convenience store. Overall a good place to chill in between city adventures.

The room was nice. When you get in the elevator, it is important to use room key card to press the button for the floor. If you need to do laundry, $3 dollars worth of quarters for a load per each machine. You also need to purchase laundry detergent at the front desk or at a store. Great views of Lake Michigan. It was a pleasant stay. We would recommend to stay here.

Location is great for what we wanted to do in Chicago. I did not like that rooms were cleaned every other day as we were traveling with a newborn when we requested the room be cleaned it was denied. We will go to another property next trip.

The hotel is centrally located and convenient to public transportation. The staff was friendly and accommodating to allow early checkin. Only unpleasant thing was the strong odor from the toilet. We did not spend a lot of time in the room and sprayed air freshener so we just tolerated it. The staff was very apologetic when we made them aware of it.

Pretty basic garden inn, the TVs are ancient, the water costs $3 and we could only find two water fill stations. The rooms were clean and it was a quiet stay. The only thing that annoyed me besides the TV was cleaning only coming every other day, which meant we had to request clean towels from the front desk.
