Great location, comfortable beds, very affordable, clean room, housekeeping services were excellent and friendly. FYI there are no hair dryers and the breakfast is instant oatmeal and dry cereals. I don't recommend the coffee. I would definitely stay again.

This was an excellent stay, greatly surprised upon arrival due to price point. The pictures on expedia, while fine, undersold this little place. It is an older place, quite basic, but very well kept. The rooms were extremely clean, even windows were clean. Staff was very kind and helpful. Location was convenient to keep us near downtown, but not IN downtown chaos. My only complaint would be the noise, and this was one night, our first in chicago...the city itself is just noisy. I dont know that the motel can help that much.

This is a basic MOTEL. It's clean and only 1 block to catch the #22 bus to get to Wrigley. Perfect for an overnight stay when you don't plan on being in the room to do anything but sleep. Cost is perfect. Parking is easy. Staff was friendly. Checking in and out was easy. Bus is $2.50.

the property was as expected for the price. the room was decent and the staff were friendly and helpful. we enjoyed the privacy wall enclosing the property from the general public, making us feel much better about parking. the staff were very attentive to their property which helped us feel better about safety. we'd stay there again if necessary.

This is an EXCELLENT no frills affordable place to stay. Very well maintained and well run place. Just to set expectations, it is dated and off the beaten path, but I HIGHLY recommend this hotel.

It's a motel so it's a bit dated (non-issue for me, like staying in places that have some character to them), but the room was absolutely spotless. And it's in a great location. Green line stop right down the street, and thorndale Red line stop is not a far walk. I would absolutely stay here again

Location is perfect! You're within a 0.3 mile walk to the green line, 0.8 mile walk to the red line, Whole Foods, and great restaurants! Love the included parking and wifi, a huge value. We were warmly greeted during check-in and the staff was very kind. The place is very clean, everywhere! As many have said the motel is dated, but you really can't beat the value - good temperature control, hot water, clean linens, and great TV selection. My only complaint is the beds - they are horrible! A step above a cot on some old springs... an air mattress probably would've been better.

It was very clean and everything worked really well. The manager was awesome. He switched my TV when the TV didn’t work and let me have the room in the corner where it was quiet. I will definitely go back there again. It was wonderful.

This is a basic, clean, and safe property. The property is one of those roadside motels that were built in the 1950s and 1960s, and I'm pretty sure this property hasn't been updated for at least 30 years. The rooms are small and would probably be crowded for more than two people. They offer a free continental breakfast that I have never tried. Don't expect a grand, pampered experience. Still, it is well maintained, reasonably priced, and offers free onsite parking.
