You get what you pay for and for a reasonable rate, this was a clean and safe place to stop over on our way back from Chicago, avoiding the city prices and congestion. The room was as expected for an EconoLodge, basic, not fully updated but clean. It's right off the highway, close to many amenities. The staff was very friendly.

The man on January 12 had great customer service and a very fast check in. The card wouldn’t work to unlock the door therefore he quickly gave us an another room!

Great stay until check out ! Guy was a bit rude as if I didn’t spend last 6 nights there… was going to book again but was like nah Should show respect to people spending money .. but room was cozy .. didn’t get extremely warm and tub didn’t get extremely hot so was so so .. bed was comfortable for tiny bed . Close to lots of things on Halsted

I asked for a non-smoking room and the odor was in the walls I had to air the room out for a while good thing that I had some clorox wipes and carpet spray that I had in my vehicle already also there was no remote for the tv and it was a non english channel. The staff was excellent and very professional. Above and beyond for housekeeping and check in. They do their best but the property needs updating. Overall the property was old and deteriorated. But the people are great.
