Overall this is a very good, affordable and clean hotel! A few items broken in the room but other than that we enjoyed ourselves. Nice pool, workout room and the location to the freeway was great!! We had a bad checkin experience which really hate patronizing establishments that have incompetent front desk staff but anyway we did not let that stop us from enjoying ourselves while in Chicago. The biggest hit for us was the price, very affordable and the daily warm cookies 🍪 they were magnificent!!!!

This is an older hotel with nice cosmetic updates and clean spaces. The exercise room has nice free weights and all that is needed to get a good workout, including treadmills and other machines, although the elliptical machine wasn't working this morning. The complimentary morning coffee was good and smooth. The front desk has helpful staff and there is a restaurant on site for breakfast and dinner. For interest, beds are soft (always too soft for me, but many like it that way) and baths have complimentary soaps and shampoo. Water pressure was good. Elevator is slow! I enjoyed the patio that seems to be forgotten and not advertised. My daughter enjoyed the indoor pool for a few short laps.

The room was very clean. Upon arriving, the property outside was well kept and looked nice. The front desk clerk was friendly and welcoming. I loved my room especially the bathroom setup, very cozy. I will definitely stay here again. I know for the future bookings to ask for a room with a refrigerator. There are no microwaves in any of the rooms.
