The room (I stayed in 103) was super clean and so was the bathroom. The rest of the place is obviously older and has a mild old home smell. It’s good for what I needed it for. The bed was comfy and clean. Very walkable to restaurants, coffee shops, etc. right in Greek town

Love staying here when I visit Chicago. The staff is friendly, the building has a cool vibe, check-in/out is quick and painless. Unbelievable value for the location too. It's a 10-min walk to Union Station and the Blue Line is a couple of blocks to the south. And the book selection in the guest lounge is super interesting!

Thank you so much for such a great stay! Everything went really well. The place was very clean and perfectly located, with everything easily accessible. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. Both the rooms and bathrooms were always clean and well maintained. I honestly have nothing negative to say about my experience. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Chicago! 😊

Stayed in the 8 female dorm for a few hrs before my early flight outta OHare. Room was clean, bed was comfy- decent sheets, comforter and pillows. Everyone was super respectful and quiet except for 1 girl who was taking on her phone pretty loud so that was annoying but other than that nice place. easy check in / out, front desk man was super nice. Would def stay again.

Only stayed one night, and I had a very smooth experience. I stayed in the one-person private room. The showers and the restrooms were really good and clean. The staff was very helpful. It is in the Greek neighbourhood, so there are some really good restaurants around!

Good location, walking distance from amtrak station, sears towers. There is easy bus route right by the block. Lots of food options in walking distance. Target, marianos are nearby. Nice neighborhood. There is small kitchenette with fewer stuff. Coffee available bit you need to use water from kitchen sink. Bathroom, shower doors doesn't have locks nor full privacy. Old buildings with noisy stairs. To store the bag during checkout day you need to pay extra.

Staff were nice and accomodating, despite me arriving earlier than my check-in time. I'd recommend shower shoes and a towel, as the place charges a small fee for a towel, and the showers are communal.

Great stay, great staff. Convenient. Great price. I’d never stayed at a hostel/guesthouse. Love the old school/newer feel. Community was awesome. Everyone was courteous. Clean amenities. My food was fine in the communal kitchen. It was so quiet at night/bedtime that when my phone dropped, I was like “dang I’m sorry “ - to myself silently, lol. Only noise was residents shutting and locking their doors. Mind you, I chilled in my private room after 4pm everyday. I stayed 3 weekdays. Close to a lot and that lot wasn’t expensive to me. Only tv is in Lounge. I really enjoyed my stay. Highly recommend.
