I have stayed here several times. Yes, the property is older and is two buildings "made into one", but the rooms are mostly good-sized and well maintained. The absence of an in-room fridge is noted, but that's really of minor concern. The hotel is conveniently located near a bevy of restaurants and shopping and is only a short walk from the Grand Avenue Red-Line CTA station.

Nice location, great room, great water pressure and very cold AC! Room was quiet and well maintained, extra comfortable beds with very nice, full pillows! Water fountains with bottle filling stations conveniently located in lobby. Pool, pool area, and rooftop area was nice. For the price, I would have liked complementary breakfast and even a discount at the attached restaurant for hotel guests would also have been a nice benefit. Also, the juice machine could have extended hours as we returned to the hotel thirsty - it was only available in the morning.

We got in very early on our check in day and Jordan gave us a room right away and didn’t charge us extra. Every employee we encountered was very friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was good and pool area was nice. The rooms comfortable and clean and the hotel is in a great location. We come to Chicago often and this is a first for this location but it will be our go to from now on.
