The power was out because of storms. The staff was so kind and accommodating. We did choose to move on and not check in as they had been without power for hours and no resolution time was known. None of this was the fault of hotel. They were doing their very best for their guests in a terrible situation.

Pros: This hotel was a nice clean place to stay with no-frills. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the room was quiet. Breakfast was always warm and delicious with some variety. There was a fitness area we did not use, but from the door it looked nice. It was a short drive to get on the Metra at Lagrange Road and go into the city. Cons: While the room had a small refrigerater, there was no freezer. The hinges on the armoire and bathroom door squeaked loudly, and the furniture was kind of banged up. For me and my family, the pros outweighed the cons, and we would definitely stay here again.
