The overall cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff. The room was spotless, and everyone we interacted with was genuinely helpful, which made the stay especially comfortable.
This was possibly our favorite stay of the trip. It was a little tricky to make it this far with public transit but it was so worth it! The staff of the hotel was so friendly, they went out of their way to make us feel at home. The dinner here was delicious. The surrounding area is just so beautiful. Could not reccomend this stay more.
Great location to climb a small hill to see sunrise although it’s cloudy on the day we visited. Great food and room was clean. Great service of moving our luggages.
I loved our family room with the loft; very clean and cozy and we had our own balcony with a beautiful view of the tea plantation. The hot pot restaurant was amazing with delicious fresh veggies and was a lovely way to end the day after hiking in the misty forest. The view of sunset from the hot pot restaurant was absolutely stunning! My only reservation would be for elderly travelers as there are stairs and some steep pathways- they would need some assistance with luggage and walking. Breakfast was delicious! I’m so grateful we stayed here. Thank you!
This is a really amazing gem of a place on the side of the mountain. Surrounded by a working coffee and tea farm and set amongst a trail system that one can walk to really check out the terrain. Spotless rooms overlooking the farm with all the amenities and the really fun hot pot restaurant for dinner.
The rooms are a super pleasant surprise! Very modern, new, clean, yet retains a lot of the local charm. Plus, jaw dropping view and absolute tranquility. Amazing experience. We can’t wait to come back
I can see the sunset from the patio of your room. The room was clean and warm, however the bathroom was a little old. Breakfast was delicious, and service was wonderful. Would definitely recommend.
The property is inside a small village. It is equipped better than most of hotels that I had experienced, such as heated toilet seat. There is 30-40 minute walking distance from bus stop, the owner drives a Mercedes to pickup guests. Room is very clean, bed is large and comfortable. Breakfast is free. Dinner is Japanese style hot pot only.

The setting and view were very nice; however, the bathroom was really outdated. The breakfast had a good selection, but the taste was average. The sunrise and trail were pretty, given the overall value, I would not stay there again.
The selling point of this place is its location from where you can walk 15 minutes up a small hill to see Alishan sunrise. This advantage may be the disadvantage the same time, because for these tourists who come to Alishan first time, transportation between the Alishan park entrance (the transportation hub) and the hotel is a little bit confusing. This hotel is half hour bus-driving from the entrance and you must pre-book the hotel shuttle to pick you up at the bus station. But overall my experience there was good and the lady boss was very nice and helpful. The facility and amenity are good.
B&B nestled in the hill country 30 minutes from Alishan National Park/visitor area. We were upgraded to a room with a view and two King’s beds. The staffs are very courteous, helpful, and engaging, make the guests feel at home. The facility is well maintained. No pest intrusion into the cabin. A 20 min walk/hike to see Alishan sunrise.(level is moderate)

The staff was not very helpful- not very handicapped accessible- did not allow early check in - the views were beautiful!!!
This is a beautiful tea growing area, with incredible views out of our room. Despite a language barrier, the staff was very helpful in making us feel welcome. They helped set us up with hikes, the bus to Alishan (including giving us a ride to and from the bus stop), and arranging a car service to take us to our next destination. We can't recommend staying here enough, including for any foreign visitors concerned about ease of navigation or a language barrier. Thank you again!
It 9s a beautiful property, great views and nice rooms but the service is absolutely terrible. Actually there is no service at all. Anything you ask for is a NO. Nobody speaks English so very difficult to get information. More important if you have difficulty with movement , climbing etc please don’t go here. The steps re very steep, hard to maneuver and very uneven. All in all if wasn’t for the views I would have given them a terrible review.
Beautiful location, friendly staff. Great views and lovely birds singing. The walls are very thin, we could hear the water running when the neighbors showered or bathed and used their jacuzzi tub - it was very noisy. Our shower/tub could use a curtain as the water sprayed all over the bathroom and the floor got super wet. The breakfast choices were extensive (if you are Chinese) we basically had some toast and peanut butter and jelly. Lots of steep stairs to climb up and down to the parking area, the hotel used a small car to transport our bags down to the bedroom.
Spacious rooms with breathtaking views. We got upgraded from a twin beds room to a twin kings room. The facility is clean and quiet but only thing is the building are built by wood so therefore very little sound proof! You can hear people talk outside and floor above you moving furniture or walking.. property is surrounded by mountains/ tea plantations so it’s not close to anything. Breakfast was decent and the only choice for dinner was hotpot. You pay extra for it. It was good but if you’re not a fan of it. There’s no other choice. Beside some loud talking guests, I did enjoyed my stay at this property.

Clean and Great View
The biggest downside of the hotel is the many flights of stairs to get down and up to your room. A plus is that there is free parking provided. We first had to drag our heavy suitcases down the outside set of stairs from the car park then all the way up to the room. There are no elevates inside the hotel but there is a luggage service however that is only offered at 10 am.
The workers there do not speak English making it hard to communicate with the first set of workers that greeted us. However, the front desk used a phone translator making it easy to deliver a message to us. It was a fairly clean room but if you look closely at the corners of the bathroom, it looks like the seals are older and the curtains have some stains.
Overall, it's a lovely view that overlooks their tea farm and the beautiful alishan mountain range.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel that caters mostly to local tour groups. Our room on the top level of Building C (#321) was clean and well maintained, with an amazing view of the valley below. The staff was friendly and helpful but spoke limited English. The hotel offers complimentary Taiwanese style breakfast and a low cost hotpot dinner.
The property is located along the Fushan Trail, with a sunrise observation platform within 20 minute walk from the hotel. This is not the popular Zhushan sunrise observation platform in the Alishan National Forest Recreation Area, but the view is still nice and is less crowded. The Alishan National Forest Recreation Area is a 40-min drive from the hotel so one needs a car (or be part of a tour group) to visit the main attraction.
The hotel is built on a steep slope so it will be challenging for the elderly who cannot handle lots of steps (no elevator on site).
The hotel restaurant serves the same breakfast and hotpot dinner everyday, so one needs to drive 15 mins or so to the nearby town for restaurants with more choices.
One quirky policy of the hotel is that they do not provide hot water between 11 am and 4 pm (between check out time and check in time), which is not convenient for those who stay at the hotel for more than one day.
To accommodate those who do not read Chinese, the hotel should have English signage to direct the drivers to the property. Providing in-room safe will also be very helpful to international travelers.
Extremely helpful and welcoming staff. They helped us navigate the bus schedule during our stay and schedule a taxi to catch the Alishan sunrise. It is very helpful to know some Mandarin if staying here, but one of the ladies knows enough English to help if you don't.
The property is gorgeous. It is incredibly fragrant from very lush tea fields and there are coffee trees growing too. The scenery is stunning-- the sunset on our balcony was amazing.
Our room was very comfortable with a balcony that overlooked the tea fields and valley below. It was very quiet, since none of the rooms share walls! Each building is free-standing, which makes it very private.
I definitely recommend having a car if staying in Fushan since the bus schedule in Alishan in general is limited.
Overall, this was a wonderful stay and I will absolutely be back. Next time, with a car!
A huge thank you to the staff, their wonderful farm cats, and the sweet dog Ruru!
