Beautifully decorated, cozy bed and breakfast with beautiful sunset and Alishan sunrise view, nestled in the hill of tea plantation. Service by the staff was cordial and courteous.
Favorite Bed and Breakfast in Alishan - we are living among the clouds - such a joy.
The breakfast balcony is so beautiful and the staff are so kind.
Highly recommend to all going to Alishan
This was a really great experience! Just a 5 minute walk up and down the hill from the bus stop, this stay has it's own vegetable garden, great views of the tea fields, trail access, and beautiful points to watch the sunrise and set. The staff were very helpful, spoke English, and helped plan a day trip for you, especially helping figure out public transit. The hot pot dinner (extra cost though very reasonable) was delicious and the breakfast (included) was also very yummy. Highly recommend staying here!
Really nice quaint quiet place to stay - we didn’t drive so relied on limited transport services (which ran on time) so had to plan around these times. Understandably being on a mountain, dining options are fairly limited. Very friendly and helpful staff! Overall recommend for a good relaxing getaway from your everyday life!
The view alone is worth 5 stars but the quality of the care from staff, the cleanliness of the space, and the peace of the area are all superb.
We will come back again. We loved it and are leaving well rested.
This homestay offers panoramic view of the mountains. The staff informed us the place and time to catch sunrise which is so convenient! They also offer excellent breakfast and the whole place is so tranquil! Definitely recommend this place for those who love sunrise & mountain view except that it is abit inconvenient since it is on top of the mountain.
Beautiful property located 1.5 hr from the Alishan Forest Recreational area. However it is fairly close to Eryanping Trail which is one of the best places to see the sunset. The hosts are very kind and accomodating and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The rooms are very clean and breakfast and dinner (hotpot) were both delicious. Highly recommend giving this place a try
Just do it! This is the most amazing place I have ever stayed in all my travels, and truly has been the highlight of my trip to Taiwan. The people were generous and kind, the food was the best I’ve had in this country (definitely book the hot pot dinner!), and the rooms are charming, comfortable, and impeccably clean.
They tell you exactly the best place to watch the sunrise, overlooking the tea plantation just a 2 minute walk down the street. And the seating area on the terrace for both sunrise and sunset are darn near perfect. If I ever come back to Taiwan I’m 1000% staying here again for a longer period of time! To say this place blew me away is an understatement.
We read other reviews about getting to the B&B from public transportation and then walking as well as bringing food for dinner which we found to be extremely helpful. The property is quaint and beautiful with amazing views of the mountains. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. Our room was the “Lemongrass” room and it was fantastic. Very clean and comfortable. The B&B provided delicious breakfast with tea/ coffee for the mornings. The location is also very close to a sunrise viewing point. Overall, we really enjoyed staying here and would absolutely recommend.
Very cute accommodation, feels warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly and professional. Everything seemed clean and well maintained, and the food was pretty good too. Would consider staying here again for sure.
The property was well kept and picturesque. Service was excellent - staff recommended location to watch sunset and provided detailed guide to reach destination and back. Breakfast was delicious too!
Staffs are dedicated and friendly, owner shows his personal leadership in guiding each single occasion, including bus directions, dining arrangements, and ride sharing services.
I arrived late and left early, didn’t have much time to explore the area.
The breakfast was Western style, not Asian style local food.
Only thing I found its odd is the towels are poor condition for this excellent property
Don’t go in June, rained almost entire time we were there. Very very limited dining options. Breakfast was average or lower. Chicken every day. Hashbrowns were soggy. The common spaces are nice
