The Thapae Loft is conveniently located at short walking distance from the eponymous Thapae Gate of Chiang Mai. That makes it a perfect hub for sightseeing within the city centre, with its many trendy cafés and excellent Thai massage parlors. The staff was extremely helpful and kind, and the room was comfortable and affordable. Absolutely recommended.

The staff at this hotel are fantastic! Super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and had all the amenities you would need. The hotel is walking distance to everything in the old city. There is a pool with loungers and bikes to use. They have a little courtyard to sit and have a drink or to just relax. The rooms were spacious and clean. We would definitely recommend and we will return to this hotel next time we are in Chiang Mai. My only regret is that we did not stay longer. Everything you need is steps away from this little gem!

Great hotel that is tucked away off the busy streets. I love the industrial vibe decor. There is a cute van used as a “bar” which we didn’t get to take advantage of when returning so late after a 15 hour tour exhausted. I would gladly stay here again.
