I stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel was beautiful! Clean and well maintained. The staff were extraordinarily helpful and kind. The breakfast was a wonderful start each day - they did assist me in having a vegan option too. The pool looked lovely, but I didn’t use it. The rooms were comfortable. My first two nights had a balcony overlooking the pool and it was wonderful. The hotel is walking distance to the old city (be careful crossing the roads to get there). They have a free shuttle to the airport - just be sure to book in advance. Beds are comfortable, showers are fabulous. There is a small gym that I used the treadmill in. Free snacks in reception and your room, and free drinks in your room fridge, along with tea and coffee. Kettle, hairdryer in the room. Really recommend staying here!

Property is beautiful- though our room air conditioner would not work properly so it was hot when we slept. The beds were very thin mattresses so were pretty uncomfortable but the service and staff at the resort were excellent.

Amazing stay! The loveliest staff we’ve ever come across. The best place we stayed in Thailand & we didn’t want to leave. We were there with our baby & all the staff were amazing with him & the staff went above and beyond to entertain him during breakfast times for us. A very peaceful location a short walk from the old town. Room was very clean & they even put some freebies in the minibar for you every day. Overall 10/10 & we hope we can come back one day.

It was my favorite accommodation among the accommodations I stayed in Chiang Mai and I intend to visit again. It was suitable for a quiet rest, it was close to the old town, the landscaping was nice and green, it was well maintained, and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was satisfactory enough, the fruits were fresh, the roti baked on site was good, and the outdoor pool was also relaxing. A post-breakfast stroll in the walkable Nong Buak Haad Public Park brought peace of mind. Recommended for those looking for a quiet getaway in northern LANNA style accommodation.

The Smile Lanna served as a good resting point in Chiang Mai. There are no shortage of hotels in the area, but this one provides a nice, slow pace. The breakfast was exceptional, but dinner and the in-room dining options were...standard. Two things that stand out about this property: (1) THEY DO NOT SERVE ANY ALCOHOL ON SITE. Just something to be aware of. (2) It seems as if everywhere you look, there's a sign telling you that you can't do something. Remove some of the signs and tell customers upon check-in your expectations versus having 'no-no' plaques all over the property.
