Na Nirand is a beautiful property with attentive staff. We dined in for breakfast and one dinner. The restaurant is handsome and a gorgeous outdoor patio over looks the river. The food was delicious with generous portions. A memorable stay.

Amazing Stay

This property is amazing. It is small and very intimate. The staff were so wonderful and warm. The pool and grounds were clean and well kept. I want to return to Chiang Mai just to stay here again. Breakfast was available every day with a ton of choices. The Na Nirand gets a 6/5 stars from my group!

Loved the place! On the river, beautiful restaurant and breakfast. Room was spacious large soaking tub. The property was very well kept and all of the staff was amazing. Would definitely stay there again.

Great family stay

We had a wonderful time at the Na Nirand. The staff were lovely, the pool was beautiful, the beds were insanely comfortable. And the setting of the restaurant was stunning.

Na Nirand is an incredible hotel. The property is beautiful and very cozy and quiet. It has a great location, within walking distance of nice restaurants and markets. The overall attention and care from the staff is truly outstanding. We loved how nicely everything smelled and how good the food was at the hotel restaurant (we ate most of our meals there!).

We were in transit and only stayed for one night. Our highlight was meeting Geo who picked us up and checked us in. He was an absolute delight! Regarding the property, the rooms are small and dated, but the spa services and general staff were excellent.

Beautiful hotel and property. Rooms were very very nice! The location was convenient. The restaurant was very pleasant and the food excellent! Best of all!! The staff at all levels were wonderful! This a beautiful hotel in an excellent location. A shame we were not told about the renovations to, what will be, a fabulous restaurant on the river. Lighting in the bathrooms was inadequate for shaving and makeup. No full length mirror! But a great place to be based with lovely staff and excellent breakfasts! Would recommend and would stay again.

Our room was a bit dated and there was a musty smell that we believe was from the open wooden flat shower floor. The hotel was under construction which was not revealed on the booking or website. Otherwise it was very nice.

nice place if ok not having a fitness center.

All was good except no GYM.... we reviewed the hotel on TripAdviser which says there is a gym. so we booked it on hotels.com hotels.com is correct but did not review it on their.. so we checked out early /swiched hotels since we do work out often ... was hoping for just a little $ back.. nope.. nice place .. but not for us. Overall the staff were great on everyhing thing else.. nice restauant .. breakfast.. was ok . My wife went earlier then me and claims i messed some part of the buffet.. did not see it all.

Incredible Boutique Hotel

Na Nirand had avery high rating and I wondered why. After our stay I would give it a 12 out of 10! This may be our favorite hotel and we travel frequently. The staff were simply superb. Everyone was genuinely friendly and efficient. Whether it the front staff or the landscaping staff they greeted you with a warm smile and a sincere welcome. We loved the intimate feel of the resort. It was just off the beaten path but felt a world apart. We stayed in the Colonial House which was set apart and very private. We loved the traditional Thai style of the room. The bed was very comfortable with luxurious bedding. The bathroom was unique with an outstanding shower and large soaking tub. It would have been nice to have a partition for toilet. Breakfast was very well done and had many choices - especially for a small hotel.Overall we loved Na Nirand and can't wait to return.

Returning guest super disappointed

Unfortunately this was NOT a good time. We have stayed here before and had a great experience. This was the opposite. I booked the same room type as last time which was a pool side suite. This time I was taken to the third floor in a room no where near the River and a completely obstructed view. I paid over $1,500 USD to upgrade to a Riverside suite but had to vacate due to the suite not being available for 1 night of our 6 night booking. Reception staff was really super fake and didn’t do much to accommodate this returning customer. IMPORTANT TO NOTE: The restaurant is currently under demolition and reconstruction. There will be very loud construction noise to deal with while you’re trying to relax by the pool during the day. We weren’t informed of this until our arrival. ALSO IMPORTANT: Their trademark beautiful tree is dying from some sort of fungal infection. No beautiful pics to be had here!

What a find! Na Nirand exceeded our expectations. The staff was impeccable, the property beautiful, the food / restaurant is gourmet, the spa treatments were excellent and the price of everything was quite reasonable. This is a hidden gem. We would definitely stay there again and recommend.

Everything was perfect during our stay. The food was great, the hotel was extremely clean and efficiently operated and the staff was incredible. It is a hidden oasis of calm outside of the busy surrounding area. I can’t say enough about how attentive the staff was and how helpful they were with planning activities and making suggestions. All of the trips they planned were effortless and top notch. Beam and Arthur (front desk staff) absolutely spoiled us. I wish we would have ended our trip here because the other resorts we stayed after did not compare.

Need employee training

The landscape and the facilities are really great. You could feel that you are outside of the busy Chiang Mai. But for three nights, the gap between housekeeping employees were huge. One day, it was very minimal cleaning and the other finished like real 5 star hotel. Then, one of the front desk employees Bew, her attitude explaining about not possibility of late check out, it was one of the most unpleasant among my more than 10 visits to Thailand. This encounter erased all the good impressions about the hotel.
