Quiet room, friendly staff. The hotel is very clean. Breakfast buffet is very good. The old town of Chiang Mai, i.e. the part within the moat, has many tourists, but the Jomkitti is a true haven. Would very much recommend.

Nice, friendly staff and clean. A good area of town for getting around or just walking and exploring. The breakfast isn’t a buffet; you are limited to ordering one menu item per guest from their menu but we were still able to find something we liked.

I was surprised how quiet the area was, considering it's convenient location and being across the road from a school. It was lovely and clean. The room size was good and the bedding very comfortable. The staff respected your privacy. A dip in the pool after a hot day was so welcoming. And the breakfast inclusion had good variety and freshly prepared each morning. Overall my 3 nights stay was very comfortable.

Lovely place, lovely staff, comfortable and quiet. Location was fantastic for walking around and exploring. Great breakfast, both Thai and western options. The coffee shop in the lobby was a nice bonus! The pool was a bit cold for me, but clean and nice for an afternoon nap.

Convenient location to stay; however, there is a primary school across the street and so the area is quite loud and has lots of congestion during school drop off and pick up times. If you're a light sleeper, probably not for you as you can hear noise from other rooms as well.

Cozy and clean

Lovely place to stay at, it’s cozy and comfortable, room was really clean and the toilet is so spacious and newly renovated as well, water pressure was good, tub was clean and big! The only downside would be the gym is more like a fitness corner with only 3 different cardio machines.( but it’s okay, travel and see their unique lifestyle and special locales instead!)

Amazing staff in a cozy hotel. Perfect lovation for anyone looking to explore Chiang Mai for their first trip. Will definitely stay there again in my next visit.

Everything was fine and all. This is the big issue though. We had the best room and even though we had that they decided to have a door between our room and another room. The worst thing ever. We could literally hear anything from the other room and vice versa. We could when the neighbours talk, watch TV, go to toilet, opened their suitcase…. Everything. Ruined a lot of the experience of this hotel that otherwise is very fine. They should get rid of those walls. They are so bad for the experience.

Staff was very nice and accommodating. Easy check-in process. The room was clean. The mattress was hard for my own preference. The property is centrally located within Old City. Walkable to the temples within the city and to the Sunday Night Market. Getting around was also very easily. The complimentary breakfast was smaller but food was terrific. The pool was rather cool and the gym was small with dated equipment. However, we really enjoyed our stay.

Great location in the old city

The location is great: in the center of old city close to Sunday walking streets. It was also pretty quiet. There was laundry service offered and there was a small pool in the courtyard.

Comfortable and clean. Had a quiet room overlooking the pool. Good breakfast. Only stayed one night after a week's remote birding trip. Appreciated the strong shower!

The hotel is just opposite a school. At 8am, it will be very noisy. Should not stay in the old city as there are many hotels thatbare cheaper and nicer, in Nimman or along the river area.

Really enjoyed our stay at Jomkitti! Room was comfortable and clean with a free minibar, bathroom had a bidet and TV in room had Netflix! The female receptionist was very amicable and helped us in booking the elephant sanctuary tour. Location is right across from a couple elementary schools, so it gets very busy in the morning and later afternoon, but otherwise is located in a pretty quiet neighbourhood near temples that you can check out. Note that there isn't much nightlife/bars in this area, so you'd have to walk a bit to find those areas. It is still very walkable and convenient to access other things like places to eat, salons, convenient stores, etc.
