Staff was friendly and willing to work with us. Air conditioning not great. Cleanliness not great, I recleaned the bathroom. I cleaned the air conditioning filter and washed the shower curtain and window curtains. Not a lot of undesirables around, which made the stay worth it.

The staff were so good to us we stayed a week and they room service checked on us everyday to see if we needed anything. For the price it was perfect for a week stay and we were definitely going to recommend this place to anyone in the area who may need a extended stay. Great service all around perfect place for price!!!

It's an old hotel from the 50's. It was cute and comfortable for the price. I did love the old wooden thick doors they were great. Would i stay there again, yes but not for extended stay as cute as itnwas and the staff was amazing! They get 2 thumbs up

The property is western themed. It’s a beautiful property. It is a bit dated but not in a bad way. The bathroom was my only complaint. It was so small. The tub was a two seater tub spacious. But the toilet was cramped in the corner. The staff was great.

This motel was just wonderful. The area around was perfect for a quick bite, some casino time and some leisure walking around. Check was super easy check even more. The room was cute with an old world western vibe

The person working the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The location does not feel safe, and despite the ‘ no loitering’ signs, there was in fact loitering. There was clothing, bowls, and partially consumed bottle outside of our room door implying that nook is where someone was sleeping. The window in the room was opened when we arrived and the room smelled of smoke and the floor was dirty. The staff was very understanding when we declined to stay and we were issued a refund.

The staff was great. The room was very dirty, comforter had burn holes, the bathroom looked to be covered in rust, and the curtains had mystery stains that couldn’t be identified.

We stayed 1 night at the Sands on a weekday. It was clean, felt safe, and the bed was comfy. The night clerk was friendly. We walked downtown from the hotel. The property is older but was kept clean and the parking areas were clean. I like that you can park right by your door. The only downside was our room did not have A/C, it was hot and there was no fan. We got back late so didn't take notice of the room temp and were tired so just went to bed. I would stay again just not in the Summertime without A/C.

My door had been kicked in so the deadbolt was broken. Cheap wooden door that you could see light through. The screens were coming off the windows, couldn't safely lock them. Microwave was dirty, fridge was warm, stains on the sheets and the carpet was wet. It was a non smoking room that smelled like smoke. The clerk said it was “the best room???” Inflated rates to screw the tourists. But somebody was growing a nice garden in the courtyard…
