The location was excellent, along with very friendly host. The view from the cabin was beautiful. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable sleep in a kingsiz bed and all you need to cook with is supplied..only thing is the toilet is to small.cheers will return.

The room was very nice and cozy. It was located very close to the beach, which was extremely convenient. The small kitchen in the room was a great bonus and made our stay more comfortable. My friends and I really enjoyed our time here. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back again on our next visit.

Overall, our experience was great. We were a group of four, and the Violet cabin we stayed in was very spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a full kitchen. We were also lucky enough to see a lunar eclipse during our stay and enjoyed watching the stars in the night sky—something we hadn’t seen so clearly in decades. It was truly a memorable experience. There is one thing I would like to point out: the smell of the air and the water was a little unusual, so I would recommend bringing plenty of your own drinking water, including enough for cooking. Other than that, everything was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place.

We stayed in a RV. The property and view we had was absolutely amazing. It’s a million dollar view. We enjoyed spending time on the beach (walkable or a two minute drive) and we enjoyed a lovely bonfire on night! We We were very disappointed in the lack of bedding and toilet paper. If you go, we would recommend bringing your own bedding! Maybe a roll of toilet paper too.

They have a few rooms available and we stayed in Porte Orange. At first glance, the room looked nice, well furnished and clean. But then we noticed that the kitchen is not well-stocked and had a dirty microwave. The BBQ outside was not clean and had chunks of chicken from a previous guests cooking in the bottom of it. YUK. There is nowhere to hang your coats (eventhough there is alot of wall space to accommodate this). The spare closet had a dirty/used cot and dirty blankets in it, so we couldn't use those. The bathroom had 1 hook to hang a towel on. ONE HOOK. Eventhough there is tonnes of wall space in there for some towel racks. And there was no counter at the sink to put toiletries on, eventhough there is plenty of room for a proper sized sink and cabinet. Also, there was no shampoo/conditioner and other complimentary toiletries one usually finds in their rental. Worst of all was the smell when we turned the water on.... the sewer gas was unbearable.... couldn't even take a shower or wash our hands. We give this place a zero out of 10.

We chose one of the cabinet instead of RV they offering. Room itself is large and clean. However there is no shampoo and conditioner provided, and this was not communicated during booking or any messages. Not sure about business hour communication, but off hour communication is NON EXISTENCE. We checked in late around 7pm, noticed there was no shampoo, so we texted and called the number they provided, but no answers or response. According to the message they sent, we could go find the host at a red door cabinet, so we went, but all lights are off, we didn't want to disturb him thinking one night without shampoo is fine. When we checked in, the host unlocked our door for us and there was ONE key hanging on the wall. We didn't realize it's only for the deadbolt lock, and there's no key for the cylindrical lock below. When we tried to look for host about the shampoo, we locked our room's cylindrical locks, so we can't get in the room anymore. We try to call the number again a few times, nobody anwsers. Left voice messages as well. Tried Expedia message, same result. Luckily we were able to open the door with a credit card, but we would be without a place to stay if we couldn't. Host's message said that number could be used for emergency, I know locking myself out was partially my fault, but there was 0 after hours supports. It was the next day's morning, we got an reply about shampoos saying they do not provide that, NOTHING about our locking situation.

The cottage was clean with the usual amenities present. Self check-in was straightforward and appreciated. Our unit had several items in a state of disrepair. This included reversed hot/cold valves in the shower and a non-functional entry door. Unfortunately the latter lead to us being locked into the unit. Thankfully a host team member spotted us trying to escape through the window and helped workaround the door issue. Overall less than satisfactory experience for the price.

The property was roomy and had all the dishes you would need. It would be nice if there had been a way to start a camp fire, we forgot to take a lighter with us. A suggestion would be to have a lighter stocked in the trailer. We had a little hick up with check in but there were circumstances that we really didn't mind that check in was a little late. Overall we had a good stay and would stay there again if we are ever in the area again.

We appreciate the host waiting for us when we check in late. The accommodation is ok with enough space for the 2 of us. All amenities are there but a bit outdated. The view is great but it was raining that day so was not able to enjoy it much.

very clean, owner was on site and made sure we had everything we needed. instruction for check-in was vague but simple once we got there. beautiful view and property was very modern and well kept. The only complaint was the water had a strong sulfur smell so made showering not that great. Close to town so that made it nice to go out and have supper at "le Gabriel" which was amazing and a small beach at the end of the road made it nice to walk.

My family and I (3 adults, 2 kids, 3 dogs) stayed here for 10 wonderful days. We stayed in two trailers (Passport & Catalina) and we had never stayed in trailers before, but they were nice and enjoyable, a learning experience for sure if you have never done so, but they still have all of the same amenities that you would get elsewhere for the most part. Each trailer came with a deck, bbq and picnic table for outside use, as well as a fire pit, which was great to be able to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful views of the harbour and mountains on one side and the beach/ocean on the other. You are surrounded by water and nature, as you are on the island, everything seemed to settle down and the hustle and bustle of city life just stopped. I think we would have stayed there if we could have. An amazing place to be if you like peace and quiet, yet close in proximity to the beaches, lighthouse and fishing all around. Then you are only a short drive from Cheticamp itself, where there are all kinds of amenities, co-op grocery store/home hardware and liquor/pot shop, gas stations, souvenir shop (floras) and other local stops. All kinds of eateries and entertainment. The owner (James) was very helpful and always checking in to see if we needed anything, always on the go and I apologize as I cannot remember the super nice cleaning lady’s name, but she was always on the go too making everything was kept up. We had an amazing time and we know where to go the next time we go back!
