This is my home away from home when I travel to Chesapeake. The staff does a fantastic job and are so friendly and welcoming. My bed was super comfortable, and the shower was pretty good for a hotel shower. There was plenty of hot water. I always love the Hampton Inn breakfast. I would have given them a perfect score, but this particular hotel was being remodeled so I couldn't give them 5 stars on the appearance of the exterior of the building.

The property is being renovated - beginning with the outside of the building. The inside is in dire need of updating. The staff say that the inside renovations will begin in October. The staff were very nice and breakfast was very good.
