We had a great experience! Having stayed at other high-end hotels in Chengdu, the Wanda Reign property exceeded my expectations. On the way from the airport I was exhausted and looking forward to talking a nap and bath after arriving to the hotel. When I entered my room it was very hot. The thermostat was set the 22°, but it was showing 25° in the room. l assumed the AC was off and turned on shortly before I arrived and just needed time to cool off. So I turned it down to 18° and took a walk to get something to eat. When I returned it was 26° in the room. I went to the lobby to complain and found another couple who were five floors away having the same problem. We both then realized it was a general problem with and not an issue with our rooms particularly. Several people came to the room to check the AC but had no solutions. My last visit was from the manager on duty who was very apologetic but offered no concessions for my inconvenience or suffering. One of them did bring back a fan which enabled me to get some sleep, after outside temperatures cooled off at night. For the course of my stay the thermostat in the room stayed on 26°. So, if 26° is warmer than you prefer, you better find another hotel. I assume this wouldn't be an issue in the winter months.
