My accommodation experience here was wonderful. I felt very comfortable throughout the stay. The hotel team is extremely welcoming with great English proficiency. The one-day excursion to the Panda Base organized by the hotel exceeded my expectations. Breakfast offers a rich selection of food. What’s more, the hotel’s vegetarian restaurant serves incredibly delicious dishes. The guest rooms are tidy and hygienic, and the hotel features a gorgeous, charming environment. I would love to come back again.

My stay here exceeded all my expectations, and I felt extremely comfortable throughout the trip. The hotel staff are warm, welcoming and approachable. They communicate smoothly and possess excellent English skills, so international guests will have no trouble communicating. The hotel can arrange a one-day tour to the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base. The itinerary is well-organized and the experience is fantastic. The breakfast offers an extensive variety of choices. What surprised me most is the vegetarian restaurant inside the hotel. The dishes taste amazing and are highly recommended. The guest rooms are thoroughly cleaned and well maintained. The whole hotel boasts an elegant and beautiful environment with a tranquil Zen atmosphere. It is quiet and relaxing. The location is convenient for travelling, making it easy to visit scenic spots around the city. Overall, it is an excellent accommodation choice when visiting Chengdu, perfectly suitable for independent travellers and short trips. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Chengdu. I highly recommend it to all travellers!

One of the best hotels I've stayed in when weighing up price, facilities, staff, location and general experience. Every member of staff was polite, kind, engaged in conversation when necessary spoke very good English. Outside was clearly signposted with everything in English and clearly marked. It is located opposite the Wuhou Shrine with a good food street opposite. The hotel was quiet and neither of the rooms I booked smelled like smoke which is a common trait of Chinese hotel rooms. The bed was suitably soft and comfortable, the amenities were of decent quality including a disposable razor, toothbrushes, and a small vanity kit. There was a fridge in the room which was big enough to store drinks and fruit and snacks if I wanted. It had a selection of complimentary drinks in there which was a nice touch too. They would refill these each day or when requested. We were also given a complimentary cocktail token to exchange at the bar during our stay. The breakfast had a selection of Chinese dishes but also had some bread for toasting, pastries, cake, fresh fruit, yoghurt, milk, eggs, bacon and a few other things. The hotel is very close to a metro line 3 which takes you to the main shopping area. Overall, this is a hotel I would absolutely recommend. Staff, food, location, comfortability and value put it right up there for any western or Chinese visitor to chengdu.

We spent four nights at Terra Art Hotel while exploring Chengdu, and it turned out to be one of our favourite stays on our China trip. The hotel’s calm, artistic zen‑style design creates such a peaceful vibe. We really enjoyed the rooftop garden, a lovely spot to slow down after busy days sightseeing. Our room was spot‑less, bed very comfortable, and everything functioned well. The location cannot be beaten — just a short walk to Wuhou Temple and Jinli Ancient Street, with plenty of local eateries nearby. What truly made the difference was the team on reception. They speak solid English and went above and beyond for us: arranging airport pick‑up, organising packed breakfast for our early departure, and giving great local dining tips. Breakfast had nice choices, including tasty vegetarian options. It is a boutique property, so do not expect big‑chain‑style facilities. But for travellers wanting a quiet, character‑filled place close to key sights, this hotel is brilliant. We would happily book again next time we visit Chengdu

Loved our stay at Terra Art Hotel. It has a very unique calm art‑zen vibe. Rooms are clean, beds are great. The team at reception was fantastic — they helped sort out our pick‑up service and gave great local suggestions. It’s super convenient for visiting Wuhou Temple area. Definitely choose this hotel when you visit Chengdu.

An excellent location right across from the famous Wuhou Shrine and the historic Jinli Ancient Street. There are also plenty of restaurants and cafés within walking distance, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. The hotel is stylish and well-designed, with clean and comfortable rooms. We especially enjoyed the beautiful rooftop garden, which provides a peaceful retreat after a busy day of sightseeing. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with any request, which made our stay even more enjoyable. What stood out most was the exceptional service before our arrival, as well as the airport transfer and warm welcome upon arrival. This level of care was particularly valuable and greatly enhanced our overall experience.

The hotel rooms are impeccably clean, and cleaning staff can be seen tidying up throughout the day. My favorite spot is the rooftop garden, from which you can look straight across the street at a park infused with an authentic Oriental Zen aesthetic. While the breakfast leans less toward Western cuisine overall, it suited my palate far better than the breakfasts I had at other hotels across China. The location is excellent too: there is a bustling famous pedestrian street teeming with tourists nearby, plus plenty of restaurants downstairs, most notably Sichuan hot pot — absolutely fantastic for anyone who can handle spicy food. It is a 25-minute walk to People’s Park, where you can experience local Chengdu residents’ laid-back weekend lifestyle. The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is also easily reachable by subway, making everything extremely convenient. We enjoyed a four-consecutive-night stay and were offered a complimentary airport pick-up service by the hotel. Most importantly, the front desk team are incredibly friendly and speak fluent English without any communication barriers, which was a huge plus for me. I highly recommend this hotel as an ideal base for your stay in Chengdu.
