The hotel facilities are excellent and the location is prime. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. Breakfast was added at check-in with my consent, but at no point was I informed that I would be charged regardless of whether I used it. At check-out, I was charged for a breakfast I did not consume. When I questioned this, the staff falsely insisted that I had used the breakfast, yet he was unable to provide any evidence when I asked for proof. He then offered to waive the charge, but that was not the point. I was not asking for a favour but objecting to being charged for something I never used. This kind of dishonest and unprofessional handling is unacceptable. The service level is inconsistent with the hotel’s otherwise high-quality facilities. To make matters worse, the room service food was also disappointing.

The hotel location is very central of old Chengdu city, actually located at Yanshikou. Close to many sight seeing and dinner places. The room is specious. The breakfast has many choices western and Chengdu local cuisine. The staff is very helpful to recommend us to some local unique spot like Yulin Street (has many Bar streets you can enjoy the drink and music.)
