The room was very clean and cosy, comfortable bed, very warm woth a beautiful ensuite, perfect location for us. The staff were very pleasant and efficient and the breakfast menu was very good. Would definitely stay again and yhe prices were reasonable.

Lovely room. Great shower. Friendly and efficient staff. Tasty breakfast. Beautiful building and surroundings, but the heating seemed to be on a timer and the duvet was thin, so I couldn't sleep in the middle of the night because I was too cold.

Another great stay

Another great overnight stay at the Colesbourne which is better than ever. Great staff, very friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you. All table service with the beer and food very good - better than last year. Breakfast very good too. Rooms are the perfect size for a couple and very comfortable. We will be back!

We arrived late Sunday afternoon having driven through some horrible weather. The Hotel was easy to find with plenty of parking spaces. We were greeted with a lovely smell of cooked food and the staff were very welcoming and efficient. The bar had an excellent selection of drinks including draught beers. The evening meal we had was delicious and it was obvious other guests were clearly impressed as well. The room was comfortable with on suite bathroom. Breakfast the following morning was also very good. It was our first visit and we hope to return again probably taking friends with us. Great job by all staff members. Thank you.

We were able to drop our bags a couple hours before the check in time, which staff then put into our room when it was ready, our room was lively and very clean, we also had dinner in the restaurant/bar, the food was amazing l, overall I have no negative feedback, I would definitely stay here again.

Charming stay

Lovely hotel and stay. All the staff were very friendly and a fantastic breakfast with lots if choice. We stayed in the cottage which was charming and lovely. The 1 thing i would recommend is advising the customers about the noise from guests stayed on the first floor of the cottage as it was really noisy hearing guests above us (especially when they were walking around literally all night!). I understood older properties aren't sound proofed but just a heads up would go a long way.
