Perfectly serviceable hotel - was only here for one night - but quite a distance from the bars and restaurants of Cheltenham. It was quite clean and rooms are ok but the self check in is very impersonal and I didn’t see any staff while I was there - but did not need them

I takes roughly 40 minutes to walk into town, with two pleasant pubs about half way. Staff were very hospitable. Excellent breakfast. Lovely place to stay.

Great hotel

Great hotel , friendly staff and a fantastic restaurant. They also gave me a free bottle of wine with my evening meal . Have stayed here on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed.

Strange operating system at this hotel.

A lovely room, spacious and comfortable, but what a strange operating system at this hotel. They have no reception, but email you your room number and key safe combination. Numerous individuals hanging around in the afternoon/evening who I assume were staff.

Last minute stay.

Very clean, possibly would have been nice to have some apps on the TV. The shower didn't have a lot of pressure, and the bathroom lacked a radiator. The bed was comfortable enough.

Ok for the price but nothing special.

Ideally located for us as visiting family that live in Charlton Kings and didn’t want to stay in central Cheltenham where most hotels don’t have dedicated parking. The room however felt a bit dated and the mattress was very soft and uncomfortable. My husband resorted to sleeping on the floor for a couple hours the last morning.

Lovely room with plenty space. Very clean and comfortable bed/mattress. My only critism was the shower, very low pressure and the shower was not very stable. Apart from this, we loved our stay. Very easy and convenient entry to our room.

A Lovely Hotel and Terrific Value

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. We had an enormous room, a very comfortable bed and a large bathroom. We had no trouble booking in and found the staff amazingly friendly and obliging. We had “ Full English” breakfasts on the first morning which were enormous and beautifully cooked. Most unfortunately, the room was so quiet that we overslept and missed out on the second morning! The setting of the hotel is lovely with ample parking. We visit Charlton Kings once every year and normally stay at the Hilton. In future we will stay at The Charlton Boutique.
