“Las dos noches que estuvimos hacía una calor sofocante. La habitación era en la buhardilla y el calor acumulado de todo el dia hizo que la habitación era un horno toda la noche. “Initial impression- good. Car park all gravel but plenty of parking. Reception - water on offer but it was empty. Were told our booking didn’t include breakfast but included 20% off food and soft drinks. Nice because we had forgotten. No information on where restaurant or bars not a big problem but it is nice to be told. We booked a table for dinner. Was given our room key. We asked if it was possible to walk along the river from the back of the restaurant… no access it is only from the other...

“Highly recommended. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable. Beautiful manor house with lovely grounds. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was awesome! Sure, the rooms could do with a refresh, but they were clean and comfortable. And all for considerably less than the price of the local chain motels!”
