We were pleased with our stay. The check-in was smooth, and the gentleman was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, with a very nice step-in shower. The beds were clean and comfortable. While we did not use the amenities the pool on site was very inviting and clean. We would recommend Key Motel. It is basic but works very well. When we returned late in the evening the parking lot was very well lit and easy to enter off the Highway..

We stayed for 2 nights even though there were not high reviews and I'm glad we did. Firstly this is an older motel and a bit outdated but pretty obvious in the pictures and it was priced appropriately. Was this a luxury motel, no. But it was a clean comfortable room, with a strong AC and the mini fridge was nice and cold. There is a great pool in the back that was clean and warm with amazing views of the hilly surroundings. Close to some fun attractions in the area and I would definitely stay here again.

We traveled as three families and stayed at this property. We think it’s a good place if you’re just passing through and need somewhere to sleep. The beds are comfortable, and we had a good night’s rest. The property is nice and has a playground for children, a swimming pool, and BBQ facilities. However, the cleanliness of both the rooms and the outdoor areas could be improved. The bottom of the pool had visible dirt buildup, and the BBQ grills were dirty, so unfortunately we weren’t able to use them. Inside the rooms, the beds were clean, but the floors and walls could have been cleaned more thoroughly. The rooms include Wi-Fi, a refrigerator, and a TV, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall, it’s a good place to stay. With a little more investment in maintenance and cleanliness, it could be an excellent property given everything it has to offer.

The motel advertised cable TV however our room had no cable and no remote. A TV for decoration on a very old table. Our room window was filthy. The bathroom was in desperate need of repair and upgrades. A purple sink from the 1950’s and a toilet with a broken flush handle that was glued together. The toilet barely flushed and filled up to the top of the bowl several times. Our bathroom had a painted tub as a facelift. The tub had no grab bars for safety and the tub was slippery. Also we had no bath mat, no facecloths and no glasses. Even plastic glasses would have been nice. We requested some items and never did get a bath mat. Front desk staff were very nice though. You can tell that some upgrades have been made, painting etc. but it’s very dated. Unfortunately we never had time for the pool but it looked nice and clean. The rooms need a route to get to the pool instead of walking outside to the very end of the building, then around to the backyard to enter the pool. Perhaps bottom floor rooms could have a door to enter the backyard instead of just a dirty window. The bed served its purpose for our 2 nights but I wouldn’t go again.

Rooms and bathrooms are clean well maintained. Staff is more then hospitable and accommodating. Extremely welcoming and happy to help with what they can. The only thing I would Improve are the beds. But for a weekend stay out near the Bruce Pennisula right perfect place for a family or couple to get away.

After a long drive, I was looking forward to a rest, but that was impossible. The room was dirty, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable—the mattress felt like it belonged in the last century. While the bathroom looked recently renovated, it didn't make up for the overall poor quality, especially with a broken mirror in it. To make matters worse, the heater didn't work and just blew cold air, leaving me freezing all night. The "blanket" provided was barely thicker than a bedsheet. Even tried changing from room 7 to room 4, but it made no big difference —both were in poor condition. Honestly have no idea who writes the positive reviews for this place or what kind of rooms they supposedly "rested" in. Save your money and stay elsewhere.

Very disappointing experience. The hotel was not clean or well maintained. The rooms and common areas looked neglected, and the overall service was poor. Basic standards of cleanliness were not met. I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.
