Vacations Close To Chatham Railroad Museum

I booked this hotel based on the photos and description that showed a standard private room setup, but when I arrived, the reality was completely different. Instead of a regular room, it was a dorm style space with four bunk beds and shared bathrooms for the entire floor. The shared restrooms were dirty and smelled bad. I spoke with management, but they said nothing else was available and offered no solution. This felt really misleading and made for an uncomfortable stay. If you're expecting a private room, just be aware of what you're actually going to get.

We stayed in Arbor 15C and all was great except a few things. The stink in our lobby was disgusting. I never would have thought that a 1st class resort could allow this, We asked for an early check in and didn't get it. While there, we saw the flurry of activity in the AM with the cleaners and didn't see any cleaning going on after 2pm. Was the room really not ready until 4pm? thanks Paul

The area around the hotel felt very unsafe. Bums, vagrants and homeless everywhere. And we were forced to experience this discomfort because the hotel had no bottled water in the room or in lobby and we were told we could walk to Walgreens 4 long blocks away for water. Towels in our room were very worn and tattered. Bathroom sink drain was broken. No breakfast was available. Good coffee though.
