Clean and Spacious Room, Breakfast was great, The attendant was very nice and attentive. The front counter staff were all very nice as well as the manager had a very nice and friendly attitude. This was an awesome experience for my wife and I. It was our best stay since we started vacations in Savannah. Towneplace Suites by Marriott rock.
The property is brand new and very clean, beds were comfortable and amenities more than sufficient for a quick stop in Savannah. Saved us the additional fees of being in downtown.
My boyfriend and I traveled to Savannah for the first time celebrating my birthday which was July 4th. The front desk attendant told us that lightening had struck the building and caused the tv to go out. So it was an option to continue our stay or not. When we went into our room everything was nice except the tv not working at all. It didn’t even turn on and honestly they didn’t really care to accommodate us. We talked to other individuals and they had the same problem. Didn’t have use of a tv while staying there for the weekend. Also, housekeeping can do a better job cleaning the bathroom it was urine left on the toilet and hair all in the shower disgusting. Breakfast was ehh they should have better options. Overall I did like the room and all the amenities that come with it. The hotel was very convenient to River Street and the beach. I probably won’t book to stay here again.
Very nice hotel, breakfast was good.
We got a corner room and both TVs didn't work the whole stay, we told the front desk and the lady said it happens when it rains and that was all. Though hours after the rain stopped the TVs still didn't work in the room and the TVs in the dining hall did, so it was odd. Other than that it was nice.
Our stay at the hotel was excellent. The rooms were nice. The property was very well tooken care of. The complimentary breakfast was also good. I had 1 small problem the light in the closet stayed on all night.
Best stay we have ever had, everything was spotless, the entire staff was courteous and friendly, we enjoyed the stay so much we extended it and cancelled other plans.
Everything was great except that we arrived and found out that the TV systems were out in the rooms due to a lighting strike. They have been messing with this for over a week. There were other TVs working in public areas.
I suggested the use of GFI breakers and outlets.
A little out of the way. Brand new as of 2026. They offered breakfast on Sunday morning of cold runny eggs, bacon, and a waffle maker. The dining area was large and comfortable. On Monday morning, no breakfast, which disrupted my plans.
Everything in the room was fine. The pillows were overly soft. There was a refrigerator and freezer, hot stovetop and microwave. Everything was very new.
The front desk was very accommodating as the picture on the hotel.com website shows rooms with two queens and a pullout sofa, however that is not the case. They recommended asking hotels.com to please update their pictures.
Since it’s a newly built hotel, the exterior is very clean, but there are still some areas that need improvement
1. Although it is actually a non-smoking room, it was listed as a smoking room at the time of booking. I contacted both the Expedia customers center and the hotel, but the issue was not corrected.
2. The room I was assigned had not been mopped at all, the trash can hadn’t been emptied, and the bedding still bore traces of the previous guest.
Although I was given a different room, the mirror, sink, and other areas were still not clean.
3. Google Maps and Waze are still unable to provide accurate directions to the location.
I hope these issues are resolved as soon as possible.
